adultedEducation as adults comes in many forms and 2-1-1 is here to get you connected. Are you looking for tips on saving money and spending it more wisely? Are you applying for a promotion and need to brush up on certain skills? Is English your second(or third, or fourth…) language and you’d like some assistance with honing your grammar skills?  Many of these classes are FREE or low cost, keep reading to learn more.

We spoke with Leslie Munden with Community Technical and Adult Education in Ocala. As the guidance counselor for the ESOL and Adult Education program, she has the opportunity to help people find their career path and assist them in locating resources in our local area.  According to Munden, the GED is changing in 2014 and they are partnering with our community to get the word out.  If you know someone who needs to learn English or earn their Florida high school diploma, please call CTAE at 671-7200.
