While Salvation Army and Toys for Tots have wrapped up their application process for the year, not to worry… there are still a few options out there. St Marks United Methodist: Free pancakes with Santa on December 7th. Call 2-1-1 for details.

RAMAL: Hosting their 1st Annual Christmas Party on December 13th. There will be food, pictures with Santa and a gift for the children. Call 2-1-1 for details.

Marion County Public Schools: Live in South Marion? Ask your school counselor if there are gifts available for children. The Bikers for Kids Toy Run gives gifts for the kids in South Marion Schools.

The National Association Of Professional Women Ocala Chapter: Hosting a free Christmas Party Friday, December 13th from 5pm to 7pm. Food and drinks will be served. Each child will receive their picture taken with Santa, goodies and a gift. Contact NAPW for additional details.

Greater New Bethel Ministries: They are offering food, gas cards, and toys at their holiday event. The deadline for applications is December 18th. Call 2-1-1 for more details.

Church of God Deliverer USA: They are offering food (November 23rd and December 21st) and toys this year and their ONLY eligibility requirement is that all of the children receiving gifts be present.  Contact 2-1-1 for more details.

Brother’s Keeper: This year, they are offering gift cards, food and toys for the holidays(including Thanksgiving) and time is running out. Apply by November 1st in order to be considered. Their soup kitchen will also be serving holiday meals which are first come, first served onNovember 28th and December 25th. Contact 2-1-1 for more details.

Salvation Army: They are serving a holiday meal onsite for Thanksgiving and December 25th, call 2-1-1 for more information.

Ocala Parks and Rec: Register by December 1st for your child to get a free phone call from Santa Claus through the Santa Calling program. Visit Parks and Rec’s Facebook page for more information.

Gospel Mobile Theater: Hosting a free Thanksgiving meal at Tuscawilla Park 899 NE Sanchez Ave Ocala, FL starting at 4pm on November 30th. Food available as supplies last. Entertainment 4-6p, Movie 6-8p. Bring a chair/blanket.

Silver Springs Shores Resource Center and Marion County Children’s Alliance are sponsoring a Thanksgiving Dinner on November 26th 5:30-7:30pm. Call 2-1-1 for additional details.

New Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Ocala is providing a Thanksgiving meal on November 28th from 11a-2:30p. Call 2-1-1 for more details.

Toys for Tots: They are offering toys this year, and like last year, you can apply for this via your child’s school or by calling them directly. They will be taking applications until December 13th. Contact 2-1-1 for more details. UPDATE: They have reached capacity and are no longer taking applications (12/4/13)
