Hurricane Maria Evacuees Resource Fair

United Way of Marion County, in partnership with CareerSource Citrus Levy Marion, Marion County Public Schools the Early Learning Coalition of Marion County, Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida, and Rural Women’s Health Project will be hosting a Community Help, Hope & Resource Fair on Saturday, May 19 from 10 am to 2 pm at CareerSource Citrus Levy Marion, located at 2703 NE 14th Street, Ocala.

The event is free to those in the community displaced due to Hurricane Maria and will feature over 20 agencies offering information and assistance. Topics will include; housing, education, childcare, legal issues, health care information, English classes, employment and more. Additional Spanish speaking volunteer translators are needed. Space is also still available to area nonprofits who provide services in these areas. To volunteer or inquire about hosting a booth, please contact Faith Beard at United Way of Marion County at 352-732-9696 or fbeard@uwmc.org.
