Do you know why the second Saturday of May is the easiest days to support your local food pantries?

That is because it is when the United States Postal Service will host their annual Letter Carriers Food Drive!

All that you would need to do is on May 11th leave a bag or box of non-perishable food by your mailbox, before your mail is delivered and your postal worker will bring the donations to a local food bank. In past years Interfaith Emergency Service has received up to 150,000 pounds of food, from our community in just one day!

If you are able to please consider giving what you can knowing that your donations will stay in the community and help those in need.
